The LA Times reports that 50 California cities have passed legislation to ban or restrict gas hookups in new homes and businesses.

Over the past few months, I’ve been working with a buyer who is looking for a condo along the Wilshire corridor. One common feature in high rise buildings along the Wilshire corridor is natural gas is not allowed. At first, I thought, “Bummer! No gas stoves.” The good news is the stellar performance of induction stove tops. Say “Bye bye, Viking gas stoves!” and say hello to the new trend in kitchen upgrades.
